1. Zulu
2. How to drive a standard well (no automatics in South Africa!)
3. The lyrics to every Chris Brown/Rihanna/Omarian/High School Musical song ever, so that the kids would think I am cool
4. How to make tortillas from scratch (I really miss them)
...this is a growing list.

Steph!! Mama Tara in the kitchen totally knows how to make homeade tortillas that will rock your world. Gotta say it with the l sounds though...
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
1/3 cup hot water, or as necessary
Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl. Add the shortening and hot water, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Divide the dough into 16 pieces and shape each into a ball (these are called testales). On a floured surface, using a floured rolling pin, roll out each ball to a 6-inch circle.
Heat a griddle until hot. Place a tortilla on the griddle and cook until the bottom is lightly browned in spots, 1 to 2 minutes; the tortilla will puff up. Turn and cook until lightly browned in spots on the second side. Place in a towel-lined basket and cover with the towel to keep warm while you cook the remaining tortillas.
Serve immediately.
One time I was reading the bible and I came across a verse where Moses was kind of muttering to himself and he had the same exact list of things that he wished he knew how to do. Just thought I'd let you know that you're in good company...with Moses that is.
Stephanie! I miss you and love you and I am so excited for everything you must be going through. I have recently started looking at Africa stuff again and man do I want to go back!! Know that there is so much love and so many prayers coming to you from the other side of the world! I look forward to reading your blog entries!! And tell my babies that I miss them (even though they won't remember me :)haha)
Supposedly Zulu is the Spanish of Africa (blatant lie), so I bet you'll be speaking it fluently in no time (possible truth)!
Do you have any specific postcard requests? Maybe a picture of enchiladas?
